Partners
Rental Purchase was formed and started operations in the
4th quarter of 1997, with the intent
to open and operate Rent-to-Own locations in the state of
Texas. The initial start-up consisted of two locations: San
Antonio and Austin.
Two
more stores were opened in the second half of 1998 and
another two stores were opened in the fall of 1999. In
July 2001, the Texas City store was opened for business.
The stores in San Antonio were sold leaving Partners with
four stores. Stores in Gonzales, Waco and Dickinson were
later opened. Recently the stores in Waco and Gonzales
were sold leaving the company with five locations.
The company is owned and operated by John Spangle. As a
private company, we provide the highest quality service
possible for our approximately 2,000 customers and provide
a great working environment for just under 30 employees.
